Like most website operators, James-Lee Consultancy (JLC) collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. JLC's purpose in collecting this information is to better understand how JLC visitors use its website. From time to time, JLC may release such information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
JLC also may also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users. JLC only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described above.
By joining our site, you are automatically added to our mailing list. We promise we will not publish, share, or sell your email address in any way. We hate spam just as much as you do and will not spam your email. We will only send you our regular newsletter, invitations to events (from JLC and our partners/advertisers) and occasional other messages. You will always have the option to opt-out of our emails.
JLC may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, JLC may monitor a user’s comments to help identify spam. JLC may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, JLC does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
If JLC, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that JLC goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of JLC may continue to use your personal information as set out in this policy.
Your privacy is critically important to us. At James-Lee Consultancy (JLC) we have two fundamental principles:
We don’t ask for your personal information unless we truly need it.
We don’t share your personal information with anyone without your permission.
