Best Fit For:
Canada or US-bound families wanting a genuine through-train (age 4 to 18) on Hong Kong Island East at mid-tier fees, well below CDNIS, HKIS and CIS. DSC is Hong Kong’s first and longest-running Canadian school and delivers the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), whose coursework-weighted assessment suits students who do better under steady continuous assessment than one terminal exam series. Less ideal where a UK Russell Group narrative is the goal.
The “Insider” Tip:
Entry is generally less competitive than the big-name Island schools at the same fee tier, making DSC a realistic first choice or a strong safety for an Island East family. A consistent prior school record profiles especially well given the coursework-driven diploma.
