The Consultant’s Take
Best Fit For:
Families wanting a British A-Level (not IB) through-train on Hong Kong Island at an accessible price, plus Korean families wanting a Korean-curriculum education or an English-medium school with strong Korean community ties. KIS uniquely runs a Korean-curriculum stream and a Cambridge English-medium International Section side by side on one Sai Wan Ho campus, and kept A-Levels by choice rather than switching to the IB.
The “Insider” Tip:
There is no debenture and no capital levy, making it one of the most affordable A-Level routes on the Island. Admissions are rolling with year-round intake and ESL support, so it is a realistic target for mid-year or off-cycle entry and for relocating families whose child’s English is still developing.
